Spring is a time of new birth, renewal, life, and growth. We see the buds on the trees, the shoots rising up through the earth, and the world begins to turn green again. Spring 2017 was a milestone in the life of Colorado Community Church. It was the beginning of a new season. Not only did that Spring produce flowers and trees, but in Spring of 2017, a new seed was planted. An idea was formed. A vision began to take root.

It was in that Spring that the Gander Mountain facility at the corner of Jewell and Abilene was put up for sale. This spurred the discussion of a seedling idea: CCC was growing and needed a place where it could continue to grow and flourish, like a potted plant requires a larger pot to give its roots enough room to seek out nutrients and continue the plant’s healthy growth.

And so, the Growing Together seedling was planted in Spring of 2017 and has continued to grow, come to fruition, and now produce fruit of its own. Come along with us on a journey of remembering this season we have grown through together over the past several years as we anticipate the Growing Together 3 Year Anniversary on May 1 & 2, 2021. Come back here daily this week to hear memories, see pictures, and revisit the Growing Together journey
